Circle Granny Square Crochet | Free Crochet Pattern

herve tullet crochet circle square

I love crocheted granny squares and am so pleased with how this new circle granny square (finally!) turned out. It was a challenge to keep the circles round and have the squares lay flat. Now that I have it worked out, I’m happy to share this free pattern with you.

I was inspired by the color-mixing children’s books by Herve Tullet. In future posts I will share how I mixed yarn colors to create a baby blanket from this motif.
